MISSION

Fostering Sustainable Transformation

Research Phases

tw-12

The PLA.I.A. project has several key objectives central to its mission of fostering sustainable transformation:

1. Optimization of resource usage

2. Reduction of environmental impact

3. Increased competitiveness

The model helps companies to track, analyze, and optimize resource consumption, significantly reducing waste and improving operational efficiency. This could lead to measurable reductions in energy use and raw material consumption, driving a potential 10-15% reduction in resource usage in pilot companies.

By supporting a circular economy approach, the model enables companies to minimize waste generation and reduce carbon emissions, contributing to global sustainability goals. A potential 15-20% reduction in carbon emissions has been estimated through the adoption of circular practices and resource optimization.

Digital innovation provides businesses with a competitive edge by enabling them to meet growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible products and practices, potentially increasing market share and consumer loyalty. This could result in a potential 5- 10% increase in market competitiveness for participating companies.

4. Anticipation of Regulatory Compliance

The model ensures that companies are proactively aligned with evolving environmental regulations, enabling early compliance with sustainability standards and legislative requirements, reducing the risk of regulatory penalties and facilitating smoother market entry.
